Alyssa Callaway

Alyssa has a busy private law practice and is frequently representing clients at directions hearings, fact-finding hearings and final hearings. Alyssa is known for her approachable manner with clients, and for always being thoroughly prepared in order to robustly represent the client.

Alyssa has experience dealing with cases involving allegations of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and physical abuse against children. 

Alyssa accepts instructions in public law proceedings. Alyssa has experience representing local authorities, parents and children at a range of different hearings including, case management hearings, issues resolution hearings, and final hearings.

Alyssa has experience representing clients at all stages of finance proceedings including first direction appointments, financial dispute resolution appointments, final hearings and enforcement hearings.

Alyssa’s has been involved in a wide range of family finance matters including cases involving:

• Claims for spousal maintenance;
• Complex pension assets including public sector pensions;
• Non-engagement of a party;
• Dissipation of assets.

Alyssa has also represented parties in applications pursuant to the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.

Alyssa accepts instructions in housing matters relating to disrepair, anti-social behaviour, possession claims and committal proceedings. 

Alyssa has experience in a wide range of possession cases including defences incorporating the Equality Act 2010 and is regularly involved in cases from the drafting of statements of case until the resolution of trial.
