Since 2020 Jayne has solely undertaken Judicial Roles in the Specialist Financial Remedy and Family Court and as a Private FDR “Judge” and Early Neutral Evaluator. It has recently been recognised in Legal 500 that Jayne “has established a reputation as a ‘brilliant private FDR judge’ “ and “is one of the best, if not the best, evaluators for private FDRs in the region.”
Jayne has taken this step because she believes strongly in resolving disputes by agreement, whether before the Court at FDR or with the help of lawyers and a jointly instructed “Judge”. From her experience both as an advocate for 35 years and as a Judge for 22 Jayne is well placed to aid parties to reach a mutually acceptable compromise.
As a Barrister Jayne highly rated earning a reputation as a specialist family finance practitioner who was “widely admired, hugely organised and a brilliant advocate.” Jayne was regularly instructed in complex high net worth cases including family businesses, offshore and discretionary trusts, landed estates, tax avoidance schemes and inherited wealth and is able to bring this expertise to the negotiating table, offering insight and practical solutions to intractable problems.
