Holly qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and has practised in family law continuously since.
In private practice she was a partner in a prominent East Midlands practice. Holly has also worked in house for two local authorities.
Her experience of family law is wide and varied. It covers the law relating to children including all types of Children Act applications, adoption cases, divorce, and financial remedies on relationship breakdown.
Holly was a member of the Law Society Children Panel / accredited specialist in the law relating to children from 2003 and has represented many children in public law cases.
She has also completed the Family Law Bar Association’s vulnerable witness training and has experience both representing and cross-examining vulnerable witnesses and parties.
Holly moved from the solicitors’ side of the legal profession to the barristers’ side of the profession in 2019.
Holly’s approach is practical, down to earth, and sensitive to the complexities of each family law case.
