Cathy Preen

Cathy Preen is an experienced Barrister specialising in Family law. Cathy has practised exclusively in Family law since 1990. She represents parents and children in all aspects of public law in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal in cases which have involved chronic neglect, non-accidental injury, death of children, sexual abuse, genetic testing and implacable hostility.

She specialises in the representation of vulnerable, fragile and parents with learning disabilities.

Cathy has completed the Family Law Bar Association’s vulnerable witness training and has experience both representing and cross-examining vulnerable witnesses and parties.
