Andrew Eve joined St Ives Chambers as a Pupil in October 2025.
Alongside his legal studies, Andrew taught a debating programme to prisoners in HMP Brixton. He also successfully represented a vulnerable pro bono client with the Free Representation Unit.
Andrew jointly won Middle Temple’s principal annual mooting competition, the six-round Rosamund Smith Moot (2023). He represented Middle Temple on an exchange visit to the USA, mooting before a Justice of the UK Supreme Court.
During Bar training, Andrew organised moots for fellow students as chair of his university’s advocacy committee. He led a new initiative to run a primary school mock trial.
Previously, Andrew spent six years working for a global investment manager. His role involved articulating the firm’s economic views to clients and the media. This included giving main-platform presentations, speaking on panel debates and leading technical investor updates.
