Overview
Terri Mason has over fourteen years experience practising as a Children Law Solicitor specialising in both Public and Private Law and became a member of the Law Society Children Accreditations Scheme (also known as Children’s Panel) in 2012. She has represented a number of competent children directly as a solicitor and has an excellent approach with vulnerable children.
Within Public Law proceedings, Terri has represented children via their Children’s Guardian, parents, grandparents, or other connected persons in a variety of public law proceedings such as care, supervision, discharge of care orders, contact with a child in care, secure accommodation, and placement proceedings. During her time as a solicitor, Terri managed a number of complicated cases involving issues of jurisdiction, inflicted injuries, sexual abuse, and fabricated illness. Terri also has experience representing Local Authorities and was a Local Authority Solicitor dealing with Children Public Law cases for 4 years.
She has also dealt with adoption cases and has represented both parents or the children in applications for leave to oppose adoption.
