Overview
Siân is a specialist in children law, undertaking work in both public and private law cases. Siân appears at all court levels, dealing with the full range of cases, including those involving:
– Child death (including murder)
– Unexplained injuries at all levels of seriousness, including brain and life-changing injuries to the child
– Fabricated and induced illness
– Child sexual exploitation
– Allegations of sexual, physical, psychological and emotional abuse and chronic neglect
– Cases with international/jurisdictional issues, including abduction
– Deprivation of liberty
– Forced marriage and domestic abuse
– Parental alienation and intractable contact disputes
Siân is regularly instructed on behalf of local authorities, respondent parents, the children via their Guardian, and intervenors.
