Overview
Imaan joins Chambers having spent a period of time practicing in London. She completed her pupillage with the CPS based in the London North RASSO unit. She quickly progressed from a Crown Prosecutor to becoming a DCP on the Magistrates’ Court unit. Following her success at the CPS, Imaan then joined 23ES Chambers where she developed a defence practice. She continues to receive instructions from the CPS as a grade 2 advocate from both general crime and the complex case unit. Her background as a prosecutor has enabled her to develop a strong defence practice.
Imaan has a friendly approach and is keen to always get the best results for her clients. She was awarded a CPS national award for ‘supporting our people’ which is a reflection of the care and passion she applies to her work.
Imaan has also developed a regulatory practice having represented the Appropriate Authority, The General Medical Counsel and received instructions from the Royal College of Nursing.
Having returned to the Midlands, Imaan is now available to accept any criminal or regulatory instructions.
