Bethany accepts instructions in public law proceedings acting for local authorities, parents and children (through their guardian) at all stages of hearings including, contested interim removals, case management, issues resolution hearings, fact finding hearings and final hearings.
Bethany prides herself on her robust but approachable manner and her ability to put the most vulnerable clients at ease. Bethany has also undertaken the Family Law Bar Association’s vulnerable witness training.
Bethany has experience in cases involving the following issues:
- Fabricated and/or induced illness;
- Domestic abuse;
- Chronic neglect;
- Sexual abuse;
- Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards;
- Serious non-accidental injury;
- Designation.
