Overview
Sioned Fitt spent 9 years practising as a Solicitor before being called to the Bar in 2024. As a private law Solicitor, Sioned was recognised as a Tier 1 ranked ‘Rising Star’ in 2023 in the Legal 500.
Prior to her transfer to the Bar, Sioned worked at a reputable Birmingham based public children’s law firm from 2010 where she went on to qualifying as a Solicitor in 2015. During her public law practise, Sioned specialised in cases involving suspected non-accidental injury, with a particular expertise in cases involving head injuries. Throughout her public law practise, Sioned developed her expertise within the dedicated Non-Accidental Injury department to also include cases involving fabricated or induced illness. Sioned’s forensic and technically skilled approach to her cases generated not only her strong reputation in this field, but led to numerous successful outcomes for her clients.
Sioned expanded her practise further in 2016, becoming a Senior Associate at a West Midlands Tier 1 ranked law firm specialising in private Children Act proceedings. Over the course of her private law practise, Sioned developed her specialisms in every area of private children law, but particularly in cases involving international relocation and enforceability, parental alienation and domestic abuse. At the point of her transfer to the Bar, Sioned was the leading lawyer on private children law matters within her firm, generating numerous direct referrals owing to her technical expertise, strategic skill and reputation for achieving her clients’ objectives.
Sioned additionally expanded her specialisms to include cases involving applications for Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders. Sioned’s exceptional approach to client care and ability to quickly forge strong working relationships with her clients saw her assist numerous vulnerable clients to navigate these highly emotive and stressful proceedings.
