Aimée is a graduate of Queen’s University, Belfast where she studied Law with French. This included a year spent studying French law at Université Lyon III, for which she received a Diplôme des Etudes Universitaires Françaises (DEUF).

Thereafter, she studied for an LL.M. in European Community Law at the College of Europe, Bruges. After graduation, she joined Clifford Chance LLP, Brussels as an Associate and also completed a highly sought after ‘Stage’ at the European Commission (Directorate General for Competition). Aimée has particular interest in cases with a European element.

Upon her return to the UK, and before commencing pupillage, Aimée spent time as a researcher at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law, London where she assisted in drafting an OECD paper advising the Egyptian government on the successful implementation of competition law in the country: "Competition Law and Policy in Egypt"' (OECD: Paris, 2011).
