Kirstie is regularly instructed by parents, grandparents and guardians acting for children. She is reputed for her ability to relate to clients with sensitivity and care and is often instructed to represent the most vulnerable of clients. Kirstie is known for ability to present a client's case with force and passion. She has acted at all levels and has particular experience in matters involving domestic abuse, sexual abuse, implacable hostility, removal from the jurisdiction and abduction cases, convention and non convention.
Public Law Children
Kirstie accepts instructions on behalf of Local Authorities, Parents and primary carers , grandparents, Guardians acting for children and third party intervenors. Kirstie has extensive experience of matters involving serious physical, psychological and or sexual harm, historic neglect, matters vulnerable clients or cross examination of sensitive witnesses with or without the assistance of the Official Solicitor. Kirstie has experience of cases involving international elements including inter jurisdiction adoption orders. Kirstie has acted for and advised clients on claims arising under the Human Rights Act and for potential applications for Judicial Review. Kirstie is known for her thorough approach and dedication ensuring that her client's case is put effectively.
Kirstie has particular experience of cases involving commercial elements, insolvency issues or assets subject to the POCA. Kirstie has dealt with cases involving small assets through to multi million pound cases.
