Annabel was taken on as a tenant in chambers in September 2011 following successful completion of her pupillage. Her first six pupil supervisor was Nicholas Cole with whom she experienced numerous public law proceedings. Annabel also spent time during pupillage with Gregory Rogers, Liz Isaacs and Paul Lopez providing her with a broad experience of children work at a very high level including baby shaking cases and vulnerable clients, experiencing cases at all stages of proceedings and representing all parties.
Since commencing her practice, Annabel has been instructed in a broad range of matters in both private law and public law cases in both the family proceedings court and county courts. She has been instructed in fact finding hearings, all section 8 applications and public law matters concerning removal of children.
Annabel is keen to undertake further work, both publicly and privately funded, in this area commensurate with her year of call and experience.
2009-10 Prior to commencing pupillage, Annabel worked as a legal assistant for Nottingham City Council. During her time there she dealt with a broad range of matters including Proceeds of Crime Applications and high profile money lending cases.
