Background:

Ann is a senior family law specialist with considerable High Court and Court of Appeal experience. She specialises in Care and Adoption cases representing parents, children (through their guardian) and local authorities in complex cases of physical and sexual abuse and neglect. She is experienced in cases involving expert medical evidence and more serious injuries including infant deaths. Recent cases have included a 4 week High Court fact find involving multiple allegations of sexual abuse, representing the child and a 2 week High Court fact find involving physical, sexual and emotional abuse, representing the father.

Ann believes in barrister and solicitor adopting a team approach to serving the needs of the client and welcomes the opportunity to discuss cases with professional clients throughout proceedings, from an early stage. Believing client care skills to be a vital part of successful representation in family work, she seeks to establish an early rapport with clients.
