Aimée is a graduate of Queen’s University, Belfast where she studied Law with French. This included a year spent studying French law at Université Lyon III, for which she received a Diplôme des Etudes Universitaires Françaises (DEUF).

Thereafter, she studied for an LL.M. in European Community Law at the College of Europe, Bruges. After graduation, she joined Clifford Chance LLP, Brussels as an Associate and also completed a highly sought after ‘Stage’ at the European Commission (Directorate General for Competition). Aimée has particular interest in cases with a European element.

Public and Private Law

Aimée has appeared at all stages of both public and private law proceedings in the Family Proceedings Court, the County Court and the High Court (including fact finding hearings, disclosure hearings, injunctions under the Family Law Act, applications for contact and residence, and removal to non-convention countries). She also provides written advice, including on appeal.

Aimée has spent time on secondment at a large local authority and continues to regularly represent a variety of authorities.
